I'm a bad blogger and insomnia...

Yup, I complain when the blogs that I read don't update regularly, but I don't update here enough.....I'm trying to get into the swing of things with it.

So anyway, it looks like my insomnia is back.....I don't have trouble falling asleep (with the help of my doctor approved Advil PM), but staying asleep is harder. For the past two nights I have woken up over 10 times each night, and that makes it really hard to get into REM sleep. t's probably from stress, but you know what? I could maybe cope with my stress if I got some sleep! I think I'd rather have the insomnia where you don't sleep for a few hours, at least I could catch up on some stuff I need to do!

Baby, it's cold outside.....

...no it's not. it's 72 degrees as we speak (actually, as we spoke at about noon, I haven't checked it since). It is December. It has been in the 60's and 70's for 3 days. I like the weather, but, you know, it's December....it should be cold, dreary, and there should be gray skies and boots, not sunny days and flip flops....

It will be 48 in 2 days. October was colder than December!

I'm getting old

My daughter has always been a girly, glittery, dress wearing girl.....and then a few weeks ago I let her watch some music videos from the early 90's, Letters To Cleo and Belly to be exact...... and now, my 7 year old little girl looks like a 14 year old at Lollapalooza circa 1992..... band T-shirt (at her age, the cast of "Victorious" is about as close as you get!), baggy cut off shorts, tights, and converse.....yup it's me as a teen, all she needs is a flannel shirt and black nail polish and she is good to go!

So I've decided to join the last decade and start a blog. No, wait, hold the applause. Don't expect my fabulousity to shine to brightly here.....the point of this is to simply have a place to ramble on about stuff that no one really cares about, but I do; and to toss in weird little excerpts of my life.

I'll try to be good about blogging regularly, but we all know how well that's going to go!
